U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), a leader on the Senate Appropriations Committee, and Jim Justice (R-W.Va.) today joined Yeager Airport leaders, Kanawha County Commissioners, and Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin today in Charleston, W.Va. to officially announce a Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) allocation for the airport Senator Capito helped secure.
Through the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Appropriations process, Senator Capito helped secure a $25,000,000 CDS allocation to make upgrades to the airport that include construction of a new concourse and renovations to the original terminal.
