PHILADELPHIA - United States Attorney David Metcalf announced that Deon Hanton, 35, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was sentenced today to 15 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release by United States District Judge Kai N. Scott for drug and gun offenses.
The defendant was charged by indictment in December 2024 with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
