PATERSON, N.J., Oct. 2 -- Passaic County issued the following news release:
The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners approved a New Jersey Structured Learning Experience agency agreement between Preakness Healthcare Center and Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) at its September 22 meeting. Formalizing a work-based learning partnership between the County's healthcare center and its technical high school.
The agreement allows PCTI students to work as paid co-op employees at Preakness while completing their coursework. Two Medical Arts students have been hired for the current school year.
