Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05) introduced the Supporting Projects to Unleash Residential (SPUR) Housing Act (https://bynum.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/bynum.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/spur-housing-act-bynum.pdf) to lower the cost of building new housing developments. The bill will increase the housing supply by establishing a five-year $1.5 billion grant program through the Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide funds to housing developers to offset state and local impact fees.
