Congressman Johnny Olszewski announced a series of federal funding information sessions for community stakeholders after securing more than $15 million for local projects in Maryland's Second Congressional District in the Fiscal Year 2026 federal appropriations bills.
In his first year in Congress, Congressman Olszewski successfully secured funding for 14 community projects through Community Project Funding - formerly known as earmarks - which provides direct federal investment to state and local governments and eligible nonprofit organizations.
