OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: MODERNIZATION OF REGULATIONS UNDER 9 CFR PARTS 101-118 AND 123-124; EXTENSION OF COMMENT PERIOD

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Office of the Secretary has issued a proposed rule called: Modernization of Regulations Under 9 CFR Parts 101-118 and 123-124; Extension of Comment Period.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Andrew Perry, Associate Director, Office of the General Counsel.

Summary: The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the public comment period by 20 days on its Request for Information (RFI) to solicit the public's input on regulatory considerations related to 9 CFR parts 101-118, 123-124.
