WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Office of the Secretary has issued a notice called: Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records; Correction.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 23 by Aaron T. Siegel, Alternate OSD Federal Register Liaison Officer, Department of Defense.

Summary: On July 16, 2026, DoD published a notice titled Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records. Subsequent to publication of the notice, DoD realized the effective date was not correct. This notice corrects the effective date. All other information in the published notice remains the same.
