WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has issued a rule called: Rescission of Portions of Permanent Program Performance Standards Regulating Subsidence Controls for Underground Mines.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 27 by Thomas D. Shope, Acting Deputy Director, Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement.
