WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 -- Office Of Personnel Management has issued a rule called: Updates and Amendments to the Civil Service Rules.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 14 by Jerson Matias, Federal Register Liaison.
Summary: Pursuant to the President's direction in Executive Order 14410, Implementing Schedule Policy/Career in the Excepted Service, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is issuing a direct final rule to update and amend obsolete and outdated provisions of the Civil Service Rules that do not substantively affect agency operations.
