WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a notice called: Proposed Modification to the List of Appropriate NRTL Program Test Standards and the Scope of Recognition of Several NRTLs.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 12 by Amanda Laihow, Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Summary: In this notice, OSHA proposes to: (1) delete test standards from the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) Program's list of appropriate test standards; and (2) modify the scope of recognition of several NRTLs.
