OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: NASA NEUTRAL BUOYANCY LABORATORY OPERATIONS CONTRACT; GRANT OF PERMANENT VARIANCE

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a notice called: NASA Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory Operations Contract; Grant of Permanent Variance.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 21 by David L. Keeling, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Summary: In this notice, OSHA grants a permanent variance to NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory Operations Contract (NOC or the applicants) from a provision of the OSHA standard that regulates commercial diving operations.
