NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: US SFR OWNER, LLC; KEMMERER POWER STATION, UNIT 1; CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND RECORD OF DECISION

WASHINGTON, March 16 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: US SFR Owner, LLC; Kemmerer Power Station, Unit 1; Construction Permit and Record of Decision.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 16 by Jonathan Greives, Acting Director, Division of Advanced Reactors and Non-Power Production and Utilization Facilities, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the Commission) is providing notice of the issuance of Construction Permit (CP) No. CPAR-1 to US SFR Owner, LLC (USO) for the Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 reactor facility and the associated record of decision (ROD).
