NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: INFORMATION COLLECTION: EXEMPTIONS AND CONTINUED REGULATORY AUTHORITY IN AGREEMENT STATES AND IN OFFSHORE WATERS UNDER SECTION 274

WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: Information Collection: Exemptions and Continued Regulatory Authority in Agreement States and in Offshore Waters Under Section 274.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 26 by Heather Dempsey, Acting NRC Clearance Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has recently submitted a request for renewal of an existing collection of information to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. The information collection is entitled, "Exemptions and Continued Regulatory Authority in Agreement States and in Offshore Waters Under Section 274."
