NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: INFORMATION COLLECTION: DISPOSAL OF HIGH-LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE IN GEOLOGIC REPOSITORIES

WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: Information Collection: Disposal of High-Level Radioactive Waste in Geologic Repositories.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 26 by Heather Dempsey, Acting NRC Clearance Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has recently submitted a request for renewal of an existing collection of information to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. The information collection is entitled, "Disposal of High-Level Radioactive Waste in Geologic Repositories."
