Today,U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.)ledall 47 members of the Senate Democratic Caucusinintroducing a resolution honoring Black Women's Equal Pay Day.In the United States, Black women in the workforce are paid just 63centsfor every dollar paid to non-Hispanicwhite men. Ifcurrent trends continue, Black women will waitnearly 200years to achieve equal pay. The House companion resolution is led by Congresswoman Alma Adams (D-N.C.-12).
