Today, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed Senators Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla's (both D-Calif.) resolution which observes the one-year anniversary of the Palisades and Eaton wildfires and honors the survivors, the lives lost, and the first responders who risked their lives to protect those communities. The resolution also emphasizes the importance of continued cooperation between federal, state, and local authorities to ensure that those impacted obtain the relief and support they need to rebuild.
