U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) joined Senator Jon Ossoff in demanding answers as the Department of Defense plans to use AI software known for antisemitic content.
The Senators launched an inquiry (https://www.ossoff.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/25.02.09_Grok-letter-to-DoD-Hegseth.pdf) with Department of Defense (DoD) Secretary Pete Hegseth demanding answers over reports that the Agency plans to let the xAI chatbot, Grok, operate inside of DoD networks, despite reports (https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/pentagon-embraces-musks-grok-ai-chatbot-as-it-draws-global-outcry) that the chatbot has promoted antisemitic and other dangerous content.
