Today, U.S. Senators Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla (both D-Calif.) and U.S. Representative Jared Huffman (D-Calif.-02) announced more than $3 million in federal funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for rural and tribal transportation infrastructure upgrades in Smith River and Annapolis, California.
The funding, awarded through the Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program (RTA), will help make safety improvements and upgrades at the Stewarts Point Rancheria in Annapolisandcontinue the efforts to construct a new pedestrian bridge across Highway 101 in Smith River.
