NEW ERNST BILL WOULD ESTABLISH URBANDALE ZIP CODE

WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Sen. Joni Ernst issued the following press release:

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) partnered with Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) to require the U.S. Postal Service designate a single, unique ZIP code for 75 specific communities across the country.

After years of work to deliver certainty for Urbandale residents, Ernst brought together multiple proposals for new ZIP codes into one bipartisan bill that would end confusing mail delays and delivery issues faced by cities throughout the nation.
