ORONO, Maine, Aug. 13 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
Paintings of Maine landscapes from three former University of Maine professors, including a few works that are making their first public appearance, will be on display during a new exhibit at the Lord Hall Gallery opening Aug. 31.
"A Sense of Wonder: The Maine Landscapes of Vincent Hartgen, Michael Lewis, and James Linehan," which will be on display through Oct. 23, will showcase paintings that span the entire careers of the three titular artists. It will include prominent and lesser-known pieces.
