WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Proposed Transfer or Reinterment: University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Oshkosh, WI.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 3 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) proposes to transfer human remains and associated funerary objects listed in a notice of inventory completion published in the Federal Registeron June 27, 2025.
