NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TRANSFER OR REINTERMENT: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, GREY TOWERS NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, MILFORD, PA

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Proposed Transfer or Reinterment: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, PA.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 12 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.

Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Grey Towers National Historic Site (Grey Towers NHS), proposes to transfer human remains listed in a notice of inventory completion published in the Federal Registeron May 14, 2025.
