NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF INVENTORY COMPLETION: UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE, OFFICE OF REPATRIATION, KNOXVILLE, TN

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: University of Tennessee, Office of Repatriation, Knoxville, TN.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 27 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.

Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Office of Repatriation (UTK), has completed an inventory of associated funerary objects and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the associated funerary objects and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
