NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: FISHERIES OFF WEST COAST STATES; MODIFICATION OF THE WEST COAST SALMON FISHERIES; INSEASON ACTIONS #6-#8

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries Off West Coast States; Modification of the West Coast Salmon Fisheries; Inseason Actions #6-#8.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 17 by Kelly Denit, Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: NMFS announces three inseason actions for the 2025 portion of the 2025-2026 ocean salmon fisheries. These inseason actions modify the commercial salmon fisheries in the area from the United States/Canada border to Cape Falcon, Oregon and the recreational salmon fisheries in the area from the Oregon/California border to the U.S./Mexico border.
