WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries Off West Coast States; Modification of the West Coast Salmon Fisheries; Inseason Action #23-#24.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 13 by Shannon Bettridge, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS announces two inseason actions for the 2026 portion of the 2025-2026 ocean salmon fisheries. These inseason actions modified the commercial and recreational salmon fisheries in the area from Cape Falcon, Oregon to the United States/Mexico border.
