NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: FISHERIES OF THE SOUTH ATLANTIC; 2026 SOUTH ATLANTIC RED SNAPPER RECREATIONAL FISHING SEASON

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries of the South Atlantic; 2026 South Atlantic Red Snapper Recreational Fishing Season.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 23 by Shannon Bettridge, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: For the 2026 fishing year, NMFS announces the red snapper recreational fishing season dates in the South Atlantic exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
