WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska; Reallocation of Pollock in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 11 by Shannon Bettridge, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS is reallocating the projected unused amounts of the Aleut Corporation pollock directed fishing allowance (DFA) from the Aleutian Islands subarea (AI) to the Bering Sea subarea (BS).
