WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Eliminating Redundant Regulatory Part Related to Public Information and Disclosure.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 16 by Neil Jacobs, Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator.

Summary: By this rule, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ("NOAA") is eliminating a part of the Code of Federal Regulations that consists solely of a single provision cross-referencing another part of the Code.
