WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fisheries; Closure of the General Category October Through November Fishery for 2025.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 9 by Samuel D. Rauch, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS closes the General category fishery for Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) for the remainder of the October through November time period.
