NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: FISHERIES OF THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES; ADVANCED NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING TO ESTABLISH A CONTROL DATE FOR THE SUMMER FLOUNDER, SCUP, BLACK SEA BASS, AND BLUEFISH RECREATIONAL FOR-HIRE FISHERIES

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Fisheries of the Northeastern United States; Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking To Establish a Control Date for the Summer Flounder, Scup, Black Sea Bass, and Bluefish Recreational For-Hire Fisheries.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 25 by Samuel D. Rauch III, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.
