WASHINGTON, April 15 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Endangered and Threatened Species; Notice of 12-Month Findings on a Petition To List the Tope Shark as Threatened or Endangered Under the Endangered Species Act and Proposed Listing of Two Distinct Population Segments of Tope Shark as Threatened.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on April 15 by Samuel D. Rauch, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.
