NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: ADVANCE NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING TO AMEND THE NORTH ATLANTIC RIGHT WHALE VESSEL STRIKE REDUCTION RULE

WASHINGTON, March 4 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking To Amend the North Atlantic Right Whale Vessel Strike Reduction Rule.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 4 by Samuel D. Rauch, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.
