WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Withdrawal of Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement on Phase 2 Modifications to the Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan To Reduce Mortality and Serious Injury of Large Whales in Commercial Trap/Pot and Gillnet Fisheries Along the U.S. East Coast.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 23 by Shannon Bettridge, Chief, Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Conservation Division, Office of Protected Resources, National Marine Fisheries Service.
