WASHINGTON, May 14 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Notice of 12-Month Finding on a Petition to List Gulf of Alaska Chinook Salmon as Threatened or Endangered Under the Endangered Species Act.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on May 14 by Samuel D. Rauch III, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.
