NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) ISSUES NOTICE: SOLICITATION OF NOMINATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE NOAA SCIENCE ADVISORY BOARD (SAB)

WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a notice called: Solicitation of Nominations for Membership on the NOAA Science Advisory Board (SAB).

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 19 by Nikola Garber, Deputy Director of Sea Grant, Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Summary: The NOAA Science Advisory Board (SAB) is the only Federal Advisory Committee with responsibility to advise the Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere on long- and short-range strategies for research, education and the application of science to resource management and environmental assessment and prediction.
