BOZEMAN - The Museum of the Rockies at Montana State University will celebrate National Fossil Day with family-friendly activities, demonstrations and talks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

Visitors can explore the museum with a fossil passport and stop by four activity tables. MSU's Dead Lizard Society will demonstrate how a fossil is made, and the museum will illustrate what scientists can learn by examining fossils under a microscope. Visitors can also look at...
