U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and U.S. Representative Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.-05) on Monday introduced The Patient Safety and Whistleblower Protections Act (https://www.murphy.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/patient_safety_and_whistleblower_protections_act.pdf), which provides legal protections for health care whistleblowers who speak out publicly on patient safety concerns.
