WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 -- Sen. Chris Murphy issued the following press release:
U.S. Senators Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) joined their Democratic Senate colleagues in demanding that U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem reverse her directive to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti. The policy took effect February 3, 2026, though it was temporarily blocked by a federal judge.
