MTSU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DIRECTOR PRESENTED WITH STATE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR CHILD ADVOCACY

MURFREESBORO, Tenn., April 1 -- Middle Tennessee State University issued the following news release:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -Connie Casha, director of the Middle Tennessee State University College of Education's early learning programs, was recently named recipient of the 2026Linda O'Neal Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by theTennessee Commission on Children and Youthat the Children's Advocacy Day.

The award is named for Linda O'Neal, the now retired longtime executive director of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, whose tireless work transformed the lives of Tennessee's children, from expanding vital services to reforming Tennessee's juvenile justice system.
