Delgado Community College is pleased to announce that Mr. Kenneth Williams, Sr., Associate
Professor of Residential Construction, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Seymour
Weiss Excellence in Teaching Award. This year marks the 47th anniversary of the award,
the most prestigious honor bestowed to a member of the college's faculty. The presentation
was made during the College's Spring 2026 Commencement ceremony on May 19.
