Today, Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06) announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $3.1 million to the Town of Ipswich through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
The funding will be used to elevate over one mile of Jeffreys Neck Road, the only street connecting Great Neck and Little Neck to the mainland. The project is designed to significantly reduce or eliminate frequent low-lying flooding that occurs during major storm events, ensuring reliable access for residents and first responders.
