Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) introduced the Harry Reid Immigration Stabilization Act (https://www.moreno.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Harry-Reid-Birthright-Citizenship-Bill.pdf), a bipartisan bill originally introduced by former Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid that would eliminate birthright citizenship, institutes a cap on refugee admissions, reforms the broken asylum system, and streamlines the deportation process, among other border security measures. Senator Moreno's bill comes after the Supreme Court gave a gift to America's enemies by upholding birthright citizenship.
