In case you missed it, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) introduced a joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) approval of California's Commercial Harbor Craft (https://www.moreno.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Joint-Resolution-Nonroad-Engine-Pollution-Control-Standards-for-Commercial-Standards.pdf) rule. The rule imposes burdensome and unrealistic zero-emission mandates on commercial vessels that threaten Great Lakes maritime commerce, American shipping, maritime jobs, and the efficient movement of goods by water.
