David X. Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, and Thomas Demeo, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigation in New England, today announced that YURIDIA TRUJILLO, 43, of Meriden, has been charged by indictment with preparing numerous false income tax returns.
As alleged in the indictment, Trujillo operated as a tax return preparer under the business name Yuri's LLC. For the 2017 through 2024 tax years, Trujillo prepared at least 4,335 tax returns for clients. On many of her clients' tax returns, Trujillo made materially false entries, including false deductio...
