Today, Rep. Josh Harder (CA-09) announced that he secured $2 million in federal funding for the South San Joaquin County Fire Authority (SSJCFA) for the first-ever Regional Fire Training Facility in south San Joaquin County. SSJCFA is one of the largest fire agencies in the state that does not have its own fire training facility inside its service area - which spans nearly 200 miles - forcing personnel to travel nearly 30 miles away.
