ORONO, Maine, July 24 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
Mainebiz and WABI (Channel 5 in Bangor) reported on the University of Maine-led Forest Bioproducts Advanced Manufacturing Tech Hub, which received $20 million in federal funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to accelerate commercialization of advanced first bioproducts and strengthen Maine's forest economy. The investment will support commercial-scale production of new forest products, strengthen manufacturing infrastructure and develop the skilled workforce needed for long-term growth in the state's forest bioproducts industry.
