Today, Congressmen Michael McCaul (R-Texas), Morgan Luttrell (R-Texas), Lou Correa (D-Calif.), and Jack Bergman (R-Mich.) introduced the Initiating Biomedical Outcomes to Garner Advancements into Innovative Neuroplastogen Efficacy (IBOGAINE) Act. This legislation would codify President Donald J. Trump's Executive Order No. 14401 (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2026/04/accelerating-medical-treatments-for-serious-mental-illness/), which works to expand access to innovative, neuroplastogen treatments that could accelerate the healing process for veterans struggling with mental health and substance addictions.
