University of Baltimore MBA student Sheik Md Akij has secured a $40,000 Technology Advancement Grant from TEDCO's Baltimore Innovation
Initiative to expand Potomac24, a digital media platform documenting Maryland's entrepreneurship
ecosystem.
The grant, announced on July 14, 2026, recognizes Akij's project, "Digital Media Infrastructure
for Maryland's Entrepreneurship Ecosystem," as one of eight Technology Advancement
