Today, Representatives Doris Matsui (CA-07), Diana DeGette (CO-01), and Don Beyer (VA-08) released the following statement after the Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued a legal determination confirming the administration illegally impounded $78 million in Fiscal Year 2025 funding for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The decision comes more than a year after Reps. Matsui, DeGette, and Beyer sent the initial request for a nonpartisan legal opinion on the matter.
