MASS COMM SENIOR SERVES AS PUBLIC AFFAIRS INTERN AT MOODY AIR FORCE BASE

ailey Ferrer Negron, a senior mass communication major at Georgia College & State University, is a public affairs intern at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. Since mid-May, she's been taking pictures and video in the field, writing press releases and stories and networking.

Negron chose to intern in public affairs because of her interest in government work. Her father served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and her fiance works at the base.

"I wanted to get insight into working for the government, because I plan on that being a part of my life," she said.
